I don't really know where I'm going to go with this blog, so if you are reading already, bear with me, you never know you might find something interesting.  I have decided on this blog because I have decided to get off my arse and, err, on my bike.  I hadn't ridden for a few weeks before just recently and have decided that the time has come where just going from one place to another as fast as I reasonably can is a bit dull.  This shift in opinions has led me to some more leisurely riding taking in some of the local sites and taking some pictures.  I shall warn you, my idea of interesting isn't the same as everybody else's.  I do rather like countryside, particularly hills, old things (feel free to make your own joke) and, particularly, churches and graveyards.  Now before condemning me as a weirdo, churches, especially those in small villages, can and do give a unique snapshot of local life and society.
